St. John the Evangelist Wedding

Some love stories begin long before the wedding day — and Morgan and Camden have known each other since kindergarten. On their St. John the Evangelist wedding day, you could feel just how deep that history runs. There’s a particular kind of comfort between two people who have grown up side by side, and it carried through every part of their day.

As a Northwest Indiana wedding photographer, these are the stories I feel most honored to tell: the ones rooted in real history, real friendship, and a love that’s been quietly building for a lifetime.

A Ceremony at St. John the Evangelist

Morgan and Camden were married at St. John the Evangelist, a meaningful and beautiful setting for a couple whose roots run so deep. The ceremony held all the reverence and warmth of a moment years in the making.

Honoring Tyler

One of the most meaningful moments of the day was a special tribute song for Camden’s brother, Tyler, who passed away five years ago. There was no best man — because that place belonged to Tyler — and the way Morgan and Camden honored his memory wove him gently into the celebration. It was a tender, sacred moment, and a reminder that the people we love are present with us even when they can’t be in the room.

Holding space for both joy and remembrance is one of the quiet honors of this work. I’m grateful I got to help preserve that moment for them.

A Reception Full of Love at the Halls of St George

The celebration continued at the Halls of St George, where the turnout was nothing short of incredible. The room was overflowing with people who love them — the clearest testimony to the kind of couple Morgan and Camden are. The kind everyone shows up for. It was a night full of laughter, dancing, and the deep comfort of being surrounded by family and lifelong friends.

A Note to Morgan & Camden

Getting to document your story — all of it, the joy and the remembering — was an honor. Wishing you a lifetime as steady and full of love as the friendship you started all those years ago.
